Last to leave the bar!

The social scene within the club is as important as the running side, some would say more so. The Trotters have always had a reputation for being the last to leave the bar!

We organise many different events throughout the year. There are the traditional old favourites as well as some exciting new ones. Please see below for the latest confirmed dates.

If you have an idea for a social event, please contact our Social Secretary, Ruth Johnson. radnorterrace1@hotmail.com

Templer Ten Recce Run - Saturday 4th November, Stover School

All Trotters welcome to come and join us for this fabulous, mostly off-road 10 mile course through Stover Country Park and Teigngrace.

There will be lots of looping back and showing people their marshalling place and a group for everyone to join, so no excuse for not turning up!

Times for groups are: C - 8.45am, B - 9.00am and C - 9.15, (please make sure you come in time for your correct group).

I'm sure a few of us will be going for coffee and cake afterwards at Home Farm Cafe, Parke in Bovey Tracey if anyone fancies joining us!

Please car share if possible and you can park in the car park immediately on the left as you drive in.

John Scott Trophy - Sunday 3rd December, 3pm, Sandygate Inn, Kingsteignton

Don't miss out on this challenging but fun 4 mile handicap race.

Contact John Caunter to enter (esmond.caunter@sky.com) with your best 10k time, which will enable him to work out your start time.

Don't forget to wear your tinsel and bring your secret Santa pressie, a fiver in value please.  Please make sure you bring your pressie to the race and give it to Tina Caunter, NO PRESSIE, NO RACE!

There will be a roast at the Rec afterwards (info on Facebook shortly) at 5pm with lots of fun and opening of presents.  Hope we see you all there!

Shaldon 3-Legged Race ~ Boxing Day

A real favourite with the Trotters.

What better way to get rid of all that Christmas pudding you ate the day before, than to tie yourself up to a fellow Trotter and run round Shaldon, calling in at the various watering holes and downing a swift half. Believe it or not, it's actually harder than it sounds.

It starts at midday at the Ness House, you can register from 10:30am onwards. All money raised goes to charity.

It really is a fun afternoon for all the family.
