Multi marathon runner, Richard Keatley, travelled to Milton Keynes this week to complete 4 marathons in 4 days as part of the Enigma 'Week at the Knees' event.
This was the second Quad marathon that Richard has completed on his journey to reaching the 100 mark. Day 1 consisted of 9 laps around Willen Lake - with ideal running conditions of 13 degrees; Day 2 required Richard to run 5 laps of Caldecotte Lake and whilst it was a bit windy the conditions weren't to bad. Days 3 & 4 were held at Furzton Lake, where Richard had to run 17 laps on each day.
Day 1 - 4:57, Day 2 - 5:37, Day 3 - 5:41 & Day 4 - 5:20
Richard is now submitting his 100 Marathon Club spreadsheet for final vetting having now entered the final leg of this incredible journey. This latest Quad event leaves Richard on number 93 - keeping him right on track to complete his 100th marathon at the Dartmoor Discovery in June.
