Lone Trotter Graham flies the flag

Teignbridge Trotter Graham Penn has kept the flag flying for the club with two lone appearances recently, at Tywardreath in Cornwall and, closer to home, in Kingsbridge.

On Saturday evening, Graham donned the royal blue for the Tywardreath Trotter, a mixed-terrain seven-miler. Battling humid conditions, he finished the event in a creditable 58.34. Among the onlookers offering support was local resident and television personality Dick Strawbridge, of It's Not Easy Being Green fame.

Last Thursday (24/7), Graham took part in the Kingsbridge 10K. Conditions for this road race were also humid but there were plenty of supporters to cheer the runners on. Official results were not available as we went to press.
