Six Teignbridge Trotters were at the inaugural Crediton Crunch race on Sunday. Part of the Crediton Festival and organised by the Women`s Running Network, the multi terrain event described as 10k (ish)started and finished at the Rugby club. The well marshalled circular but hilly course followed lanes and tracks towards Sandford, along the Millennium path and through Crediton High Street.
The hot and humid conditions for the 246 finishers, were only slightly relieved by the light breeze and occasional shaded area. Graham Penn was next across the line in 52:31, followed by Stephen Wallace (54:58), Steve Rawlinson (55:37), Lisa Thorne (56:01) and Ann Jones (58:18).
