Warm up: Before the session begins the coach or leader with brief you on the session and roughly point out the route for you. Please listen carefully to them and remember that they are in charge.
This group is for beginners and is for runners who are still at the run/walk stage of their running.
Intermediate Group and Social Run
A social run, with plenty of regrouping. This group provides an 'Intermediate Level' run, for those wishing to step up from the 'Improvers Group'. Also suitable for faster runners, who want a nice social run and intend to run at the 'speed of talk'!
Main Training Run 'B' Group
Steady continual run, at roughly 8:30-9min/mile pace, with plenty of dynamic 'looping back' regrouping. Route up to the coach/leader (6-7 miles)
Main Training Run 'A' Group
A brisker continual run with plenty of dynamic looping back and regrouping. Route up to the coach/leader (7-8 miles)
Ten Mile Run Group
A 10 mile run at 8/8.30 min/mile pace, with the route up to the coach/leader.
