The race itself is nearly all off road, following alongside the beautiful River Dart. It starts and finishes on Borough Park and uses the Totnes Leisure Centre as its Race HQ. Where there are plenty of toilets (including extra portable loos), showers and changing facilities.
There is a strict race limit of 625 so it is advisable to enter early - in six of the last eight years the race has sold out well in advance.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
We pride ourselves on our extensive prize list. Apart from the first 5 males and females, we also offer prizes to first and second in each vet category (every 5 years) up to 70 for both the ladies and the men. We also have an U18 category and prizes for the first two men's teams (6 to count) and ladies's teams (4 to count). Presentations will take place at 12.45pm.
Please note that headphones are not permitted and anyone caught wearing them during the race will be disqualified!
Since the Trotters took over staging the race, we have raised over £26,500.00 for Totnes Caring, a local charity, who do a fantastic job supporting the elderly in Totnes.
Refreshments will be available, including the famous selection of Trotter cakes! If the weather permits, then we will have a BBQ, selling jumbo hot dogs, cheeseburgers and bacon baps.

We will once again be staging a 1-mile Fun Run around the perimeter of Borough Park - Starting at 10.25am. This always proves really popular and gives all those taking part the chance to complete a safe, measured 1-mile course. Prizes for 1st & 2nd M/F U8, U10, U13 & U15 - Bespoke Totnes medal and chocolate for all finishers. Entry fee; £3.50 in advance (online entry) £5.00 on the day (cash only).
You will be emailed a race information leaflet closer to the big day. Race numbers to be collected from the leisure centre on the day.

We will only accept number transfers on the day of the race. Please come to Race HQ where there will be a transfer form for you to fill in. Please note there will be an administration charge of £3 per transfer.
