Wednesday Night Training - 18/05/2022

Red Group
Ian Langler Parluf Bakers Park In pairs, you will start going around the outside of the football pitches, in opposite directions, one of you will jog, the other will run fast until you meet your partner, then you change over. You continue to do this for a period of time, have a recovery period and then do it again.
Blue Group
Clare Youngman 12 x 80sec Coach Rd Football Pitch
4-5 mile Improvers
Tamsin Cook A nice step up for those who want to move from the Beginners. At a pace of 12:00 to 13:00 min/mile with rest breaks this is a nice social run with lots of chatting.
5-6 mile Social
  A social run, with plenty of regrouping. Great for those wishing to step up from the 'Improvers Group'. Also suitable for faster runners, who want a nice social run and intend to run at the 'speed of talk' Pace will be 10:00 to 12:00 min/mile.
7-8 mile Run
Joe Hornsby A brisker continual run with plenty of dynamic looping back and regrouping. Route up to the coach/leader. Pace will be 7:30 to 8:30 min/miles.

Monday Night Training - 23/05/2022

3-4 mile Beginners
John Skinner This group is for beginners and is for runners who are still at the run/walk stage of their running. It is a great introduction for anyone new to running and as long as you can shuffle along for a bit you are most welcome. You will surprise yourself at what you can achieve! We have many runners who started in this group who now run marathons.
4-5 mile Improvers

5-6 mile Social

  Steady continual run, at 8:30 to 10:00 min/mile pace, with plenty of dynamic 'looping back' regrouping. Route up to the coach/leader.
7-8 mile A Group
  A brisker continual run with plenty of dynamic looping back and regrouping. Route up to the coach/leader. Pace will be 7:30 to 8:30 min/miles.
10 mile Group
  A 10 mile run at 7.00 to 8:00 min/mile pace, with the route up to the coach/leader. Please check with leader the expected pace of that run at the introduction.
