Teignbridge Trotters took part in Running Forever RC Herepath Half Marathon in Somerset in wet and breezy weather. The undulating trail 13.7 miles included fields, lanes, and woodland paths with uphill sections early on. It was a well marshalled and signed event with excellent cakes at the finish. The 16 Trotter finishers agreed it was well worth the effort in challenging conditions for a great running club organised race.

Prize winners included; Helen Anthony 1st FV40 5th lady 1:54:20, Roger Easterbrook 1st MV50 5th 1:36:59. Chris Andrews visited Chicago for a warm up 5k run followed by supporting his son Scott P.B in 3:47 in the iconic Chicago Marathon. The 5k included a very nice goodie bag, Chris finishing in 1777th from 9574 in 26:58 his fastest time this year. Well done.

Darren Petch (1.07.48) and Ruth Johnson (57.07) took part in the Acronyms Tamar 10k. A hilly road route with a few footpaths taking in the Tamar Bridge twice. A great race but the start was a disaster, waiting in relentless wind and rain for ages.

Char Lee completed her 2nd half marathon in 2 weeks, at the Eden project in a great time of 2:15:49
