Five Trotters were active in the Winding Paths Christmas Canter on the Tiverton canal tow path at Sampford Peverell.

Lucy Evans finished the marathon distance in 3rd in 4:02:49, followed by Jayden Taylor 9th 5:01:46, Allen Taylor 10th 5:02:06, Ruth Johnson 14th 5:30:08, and in the 10K Susanne Westgate 12th 1:12:21.

Conditions on the day were really good making for an enjoyable run. The race was friendly, well organised and had a great atmosphere throughout. A special congratulations to Lucy Evans and Jayden Taylor, who both achieved new PBs on the day.

Three Trotters were representing the club in their royal blue and Christmas hats at the Extremely Jolly Race at Escot in East Devon. The race is run over a wet, muddy and undulating 10km trail course, which includes a water slide. 

Ben Tampkins finished 2nd man in a terrific 51 minutes 39 seconds. Derek Skinner clocked 1 hour 4 minutes 5 seconds with Neil Tampkins finishing in 1 hour 7 minutes 15 seconds.

Shaz & Paul Sharples took part in the Running Events stag challenge race. Starting on the Granite Way in Okehampton following the former railway line in super weather with great scenery. They had warmed up with the Simmons Park Run nearby before for 2 laps in fancydress of the 3.3 mile course in 74mns ignoring the potential of upto 7 hours running.
