Trotters took part in the Purple Gecko Haldon 5k and 10k winter series recently. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Haldon Forest this is a tough 1,155ft of elevation for the 10k race trail. Conditions included a bit of mud thrown in and an early start with misty rain that soon petered out to bring fine running conditions.

Mark Wotton and Kerry Clarke completed the 5k course this was Kerry’s first 5k trail race having just completed the couch to 5k course and she picked a tough course, well done.

Mark 40.28 came 16th, followed by Kerry 44.33 in 27th from 28 participants.  Derek finished in 1.05.45 for 32nd out of 54 participants.
